Now in its second year, Art Fair Hamilton was founded to provide local artists with a dynamic platform to showcase and sell their work, network, and engage with the public. This juried annual event fosters artistic exchange, offering meaningful opportunities for networking, collaboration, and showcasing work.

Hosted at the Cotton Factory—a vibrant arts hubs—Art Fair Hamilton takes place in a historic, creative setting that perfectly complements the energy and talent of participating artists. As both a venue and a sponsor, the Cotton Factory enhances the fair’s mission to celebrate and support the arts community.

We strive to make art more accessible, connect artists with new audiences, and further strengthen Hamilton’s reputation as a cultural destination.

Art Fair Hamilton is situated upon the traditional territories of the Erie, Neutral, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee and Mississaugas. This land is covered by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, which was an agreement between the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabek to share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. We further acknowledge that this land is covered by the Between the Lakes Purchase, 1792, between the Crown and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.

Hamilton is home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island (North America) and we recognize that we must do more to learn about the rich history of this land so that we can better understand our roles as residents, neighbours, partners, and caretakers.
