Participants will learn the principles of photography by making their own miniature camera obscura.
Experimenting with analogue magic they will capture what they see through their camera obscura on a photo walk with their phone, and print their favourite photograph to take home.

Through blindfolded scent exploration, we'll dive into how fragrance connects to seasons, colours, and emotion. You'll blend your own signature scents, add beautiful botanicals, and pour two custom candles - complete with creative labels inspired by your senses and stories

Learn the skills of lighting, using polarizing filters to reduce reflections, colour balance and file management will be covered during this practical workshop.
Joseph Hartman has been photographing artwork professionally for over 15 years. He has worked with major museums including the Art Gallery of Hamilton, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, and the Chicago Art Institute, as well as many commercial galleries and individual artists.
You are encouraged to bring your camera (or phone) and one of your artworks to photograph during the session.
